Women aged 40 and older are beautiful, brilliant, and vibrant even with our battle scars - age, size, body shape, ethnicity nor race are not what define who we are. The goal of this campaign is to remind the world (and perhaps even your self) of this important fact. The world, our sisters, and our daughters need to hear and see your story!
Angela Gartner’s Portrait Studio is looking for 40 women aged 40 and older to participate in a one-of-a-kind photo experience designed to empower, uplift, and celebrate your unique wisdom and beauty.
I want to change the conversation around aging and beauty, and change the way the world sees and hears women. I want to share how you have overcome challenges professionally, personally, or due to societal biases -- and help you memorialize the Super Powers you have gained as you triumphed. I want to share these collective experiences not just with the world, but as a way to up-lift other women going through similar challenges and to further empower our younger generations through gorgeous portraits and your story.
Join me in this exploration of the mature and accomplished woman by participating in a project that will transform the way you -- and the world -- see your self.
The Experience
Only 40 spots will be made available this round. Selection of participants will be based on a review of applications submitted. If selected, I will be in touch to schedule your consultation, fitting appointment, and book your photoshoot.
Those selected to participate will have Before and After photos taken which may be used on social media, print media, website and other marketing materials. This includes a selection of one or more photos from each participant to be displayed at the gala event (see below).
Each cohort member will be provided interview questions to be answered before and following the photo shoot. This may include a video testimonial and/or behind the scenes video or photos.
Once all 40 photoshoots have been completed, a gala event is planned to bring the cohort of 40 women together to celebrate (details forthcoming).
And, a digital copy of Unstoppable Women magazine, capturing the collective stories and portraits from this round of participants will be offered with beautiful print copies available for purchase.
A private Facebook group will be created for the 40 Over 40 cohort to keep everyone updated, and to share our stories and experiences. For those not selected to this round, you will have the opportunity to be considered for a future event.

The Price: $525 Booking Fee
This exciting and indulgent experience is being offered to 40 women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80+ for just $525 (plus MD Tax) Session Fee. Various Portrait Packages are available.
The $525 Booking/Session Fee covers preparation for the scheduled date for your exclusive in-studio photoshoot. It also covers the creative aspects for this event along with complimentary Hair and Makeup/Skin care, access to a wide selection of vintage and tulle gowns and boudoir pieces, and the in-depth planning and styling consultation prior to your photoshoot.
Along with an amazing photoshoot, participants will be gifted $250 toward the purchase of a portrait package -- 3 packages are available ranging in price and size from $1,800 to $3,100 -- and/or wall art (prices vary based on type and size). Most participants end up spending an average of $2,900, but keep in mind, you only buy what you love!
This year's Session Fee will include a complimentary digital copy of the Unstoppable Woman magazine showcasing a selection of portraits and the stories of all our amazing women, along with two tickets to the planned Gala Event (additional tickets will be made available for purchase).
